- Please come 15 minutes early on the first
class to register.
- You need to bring a mat and a towel with
you.
- We recommend you wear comfortable clothing
that won't restrict your movements.
- Don't eat a heavy meal before class.
- Out of respect for your fellow class members,
please don't be late.
class descriptions
Beginners: ENROLMENT REQUIRED. A
structured 10-class program teaching the essential techniques and
understanding that is central to personal improvement without injury
and progression to more advanced sequences. Students must enrol
to participate. You must complete both classes Mon/Tues'
for five weeks
Pilates & Props: [Level 1/2I]
Students must have completed a structured beginners program, or
at least 10 hours of Pilates (mat work) before commencing this class.
Class uses small apparatus to strengthen and challenge your core.
Excellent for stabilisation work. Strong focus on technique. A great
class to start back into for those who have missed a few classes!!
Props 1 and 2 focus on different apparatus - Toning Balls, Magic
Circles, Rollers, Fit-balls Gymstick. Fantastic
for building lean strong muscle and taking your workout to the next
level.
Pilates Flow: [Level 2/3] Int/Adv
level class based on pre-choreographed and challenging pilates routine
changed every 8 weeks. Prerequisite: Completion of Beginners programme
and sound understanding of pilates exercises at a more intermdiate/advanced
level. It is recommended that you have undertaken a minimum of 30
hours before joining this class. Mat Flow
demands strength to participate in a non-stop floor-based workout.
Expect to learn more challenging movements and progressive stretching.
Yogalates [Beg/on-going]:
ENROLMENT REQUIRED. This class will alternate each week between
an Ashtanga-styled yoga practice and Yogalates style class. Both
classes are based on a flowing series of standing & seated postures
designed to teach you how to stretch and release muscles correctly.
The flowing sequence of this class will raise your body temperature
substantially; thereby enhancing your flexibility.
Not suitable for those with severe neck
/wrist ailments. Must be fit and strong.
